Dex takes new space in Charlotte

An imaging-equipment distributor out of Tampa, Fla., has signed on for 20,100 square feet at Whitehall in south Charlotte.

DEX Imaging, a dealer of document-imaging equipment, has taken space at Whitehall Technology Center II, a 95,000-square-foot flex building at 2915 Whitehall Park Drive. It’s the first new lease since CIP Real Estate and its joint venture partner, CrossHarbor Capital Partners out of Boston, purchased two properties in Whitehall for $21.5 million in April.

“We are very excited to be bringing DEX to Whitehall Technology Center II,” saidChris Kirby, senior vice president and regional director for CIP, in a statement. “We have received strong interest in the project since our purchase and we expect to continue to see a great deal of demand for this unique, best-in-class flex space.”
